What is the Frames and Directories ?

This is the descriptions of Directories and Frames in Search Engines technical term that you’ll need to know for having better understanding about SEO

Directories
When webmasters realized just how much power inbound links have in determining search rankings they quickly set out to do two things:
Get inbound links
Set up web sites where other webmasters could achieve inbound links (meaning big traffíc revenues for the site). Hence the directory farms you'll find today. Link building has been a priority on the líst of any SEO-savvy webmaster for years, and as a result "quick fix" directories that allow streamlined listing submissions get a ton of traffic. However, Google and the other major search engines are on to this tactic, and the word among SEO "experts" is that the benefits of listing your site at directories are diminished if not gone.

Frames
Frames are a way of laying out a website with multiple documents in one browser window. Essentially, there is one main document which contains the frame set tag - this document specifies the dimensions/placement of the frames and also the documents that will "populate" those frames. From an SEO standpoint the use of frames for your layout is not recommended. Since frames do not use links in the same way, and since links may point to one frame from another, they may cause serious problems for crawlers. Additionally, there are almost no uses for frames that can't either be 1) duplicated with other methods or 2) thrown away without much fuss. If your site was built with frames and you're thinking you don't want to rebuild - it might be tough luck if you're interested in optimizing for search. Consider it a learning experience - build yourself a CSS-based layout.

What is the Algorithms and Crawlers ?

Even SEO is the one most important thing that needed for sites traffic, but some of us don't realize is that not everyone knows even the basics of SEO. This is the list of Search Engines technical term that you’ll need to know to intelligently engage the ever-changing world of SEO.

Algorithms
A search algorithm is, in short, the incredibly complex mathematical formula that a search engine uses to "rank" web sites for keywords. Based on a huge number of variables and calculations, algorithms are among the most closely-guarded secrets on the internet. Why? Imagine if they were leaked - suddenly the less-than-honest would have a very specific guideline to follow in climbing to the top of search results in a less-than-organic way, ruining the quality of Google's search results and their entire competitive advantage with it.

Crawlers
Also same known as Robots, Spiders, Bot or Bots. Googlebot, for example, is a search engine crawler. Googlebot periodically traverses the web in record time, indexing content, links or/and everything contained in page source code and storing it in Google's search index. Then, when a user visits Google and enters a search phrase, the index, filtered by the algorithm, is what the user gets. Please note: there is some delay in this process since the results you're getting are from the index and not the live web.

These are the words and phrases that newcomers have the most trouble with; and hope these definitions can help the person have a better understanding of SEO

Create an eBook

One of the easiest ways to make money as an affiliate is to create an eBook that is loaded with valuable content, but also contains affiliate links (your affiliate links) to relevant products

For example:
  • If you put out a 30 page eBook on cooking secret, you could have affiliate links to:
  • Home study courses on how to cook
  • Kitchen products (pan, stiller ,etc)
  • Cooking schools (for those who want to be professionals)
  • Courses on how to start your own cooking business
You've got the idea. Provide valuable content in your eBook, but also insert links to products and services that you think the reader would benefit from

PPC strategies and tactics

This is one of the most popular ways to make money as an affiliate. If you've got a good handle on PPC strategies and tactics, you can make more money by placing ads an affiliate than the person who created the product in the first place (and who gets 100% commision on their own sales)

The key is to find keywords that are not as widely known. This is sometimes known as "the long tail". By finding dozens of little known keywords, you can rank quite high, and drive a lot of traffic to your web sites

I personally recommend driving the traffic to your own website, where you capture
the visitor's name and email address before you send them off to your affiliate promotion. This way, you can promote other products to them in the future.

The other reason that this tactic work so well is because you can create your own scarcity on an offer that doesn't have any. Sure they can buy the product anytime, but if they want to get their hands on your special bonus, they have to buy before the given deadline.

Promotion with writing Article

One of the great thing about article marketing is that it goes hand with blog marketing. You write the articles, post them on blog and then you go and get even more mileage out of your articles by getting listed in the article directories

Article marketing is definitely a favorite of a lot many people because there's so much you can do the following:
  • Post the article to your blog
  • Email the article to your list
  • Post a link to it in the sig file on your forum posts
  • Get listed in article directories
  • Get the article reprinted on other websites
  • Give the article to other list owners, and have them send it to their readers
And the list goes on and on. If you haven't tried article marketing yet, you really should give it a try

Promote with Success Stories

Nothing will boost the sales of an affiliate promotion like showing proof that the product actually works. For example, if you're promoting a product on how to make money with Google Adwords, then take the time to use the strategies in the course, and document the results you've achieved out of studying the program

Maybe you have a low clickthru ratio before, but now your click thru has more than tripled. Well that is worth talking about. Take before and after screenshots of your clickthru, so that people can really see that it work.

The Web is full of marketers who make empty promises that can't be backed up. Stand out from the crowd by showing your readers that what you're saying actually is true, and then prove it.

Peer to Peer for affiliate

You know those Peer to Peer file sharing programs, like Lime wire? There are people who create these little Quicktime videos that have keywords in the title and filename, but there's are twist.

When you open the video, it automatically opens up your browser and take some affiliate link. Now, I don't recommend doing this unethically, but if you had some kind of original content that you think might be popular on a P2P Program, this might be something to think about.

This is still bit new but from talking with other marketers that it does work. In order to make video that open up browser window you need Quicktime Pro at "www.apple.com/quicktime/pro"

Check it out and let me know how this work for you

Created short Video for Marketing

Become Internet Affiliate Marketer success primarily you must have good promoting things for the product as an affiliate. Below is the one thing tips for optimization promote with video:

Created short video
Have been creating short video to post on websites like YouTube.com. They are super targeted but definitely produce results. These are easy to create, but if you're not tech savvy you don't even have to do it yourself. You can hire a virtual spokes model and have them just read your script off a teleprompter.

Now granted this is not going to be repeatable, predictable traffic stream (like PPC for example), but it does work and is well worth your time investigate.

Impotant think of the Titles

Titles should always lead readers to what they'll discover if they sign up for your list, and they should be pretty tight and punchy. They need to hit readers in the face and make them think, "Oh, I want that." A good example might be, "Kicking the Junk Habit and Making Money." Is it about quitting drugs? No, it's about selling on eBay. But the title may lead people to want to know what the title means. It's a curiosity issue, and it works every time, especially if you use these punchy, weird titles on your list building pages.

Use the same concepts when writing your bullet points, too. You want them to be mini-headlines, not full sentences or worse, paragraphs. Keep them short and easy to read. "How to set up an automated money-making system" or "How to get others to send traffic to your website for FREE. " If you're a business owner, you'll surely want to know how you can do these things. They're benefits for obvious reasons--more traffic, more money. They're easy to figure out, but interesting enough to make people want to know "how" even more.

Also include a sense of urgency. You'll notice in the title above, I used the word "today," which implies that if you do the things I recommend in this article, you'll have more opt-ins right away. Change your "submit" button to read something better, too, like "order your free subscription," or "immediate access." Anything that calls people to action will work better than the plain old submit button.

Are the List Building need Opt-in list?

Are the Headline, bullet points, opt-in box really truly elementary on the squeeze page? I don't think so. When you're list building they are persuasion perspective that you have to consider. The first thing they see on the list building page is your headline. How well written is it?

What's in it for them is very, very important. Your headline has to show people some benefit of being on your list. If it's something you want, you're more likely to sign up, right? For instance, if you consider the title of this article, you want more opt-ins or you wouldn't be reading now. Well, it's the same thing with your squeeze page. If you don't give people a good reason to join your list, they won't.

Even then, they may not join if they aren't curious. I mean, their mailboxes are already so crammed with messages, why would they want one more from you? They won't unless you make them crazy to know something that you're going to tell them. So, tease them a little. They want to know the "how." You're reading because you want to know how to get better results with your list building pages and ultimately, more opt-ins. You're wondering how to do it.

Click Fraud's War

Ad Traffic Quality Resource Center make Google's debut for closely follows the arrival of a similar service from Yahoo.

With take the trust occupying as an important part of any online advertising product, Google and its competitors have to work hard to stay ahead of the various grifters, thieves, and assorted criminals who would loot their ad clients. Get banned because have same server

Your sites will be fine as long as they don't clearly against the term of service, linking to or endorsing illegal products that are used to deceive the Search Engines. But there are ways you can hurt your sites rank and get banned or deindexed by Search Engine.

One issue that can get sites banned is by having too many sites on the same server or IP address It doesn't 50 or 100 sites, its about thousands of sites in the same server. Why ???

The reasons of search engines didn't like because thats to prevent companies from artificially increasing their rank by linking to all of the sites on the same server or big network with thousands sites. They could easily link to each site and look more popular than they actually are.

Tips for avoid banned or deindex :
  • Using different hosting accounts
  • or Use a provider supplies different IP address for every account

Don't you worry if your sites ever get banned or deindexed and you have the other sites on that server because search engines usually ban sites by domain not IP address. In some cases they will ban by IP address but would be an extreme circumstance.

Google Webmaster got a problem

Google and StopBadware.org have been providing a service to users of the search engine by warning of links to potentially dangerous sites. Such warnings may be news to webmasters of those sites, as they may not realize they have been compromised.

Google improved upon its communication with those webmasters, as noted in an update to the Google Webmaster Central blog. The process for removing malware warnings from a cleaned-up site should be quicker now.

After reviewing Webmaster Tools for URLs Google considers dangerous, the webmaster can make changes and request a malware review from Google. If it clears the review, malware messages should be removed within 24 hours, generally.

If the review finds more problems, Google will update the list of dangerous URLs it has detected for webmasters to check. Causes of positive detections can vary; StopBadware lists common threats that will cause Google to warn people against continuing to a site from the search results.

Element Blog must have

Liberal movement of Blogger

The winning answer to that is blog publishers and blog network owners, who pay on a percentage basis rather than a per-post basis. Entrants to the "profession," and yes we must call it that now, claim to make pennies for hours of work, without health insurance and other benefits afforded to other workers.

I'm not taking sides here, just stating the crux of the matter. The issue was billed as a "liberal" movement, as you might imagine, as no business-minded, robber-baron conservative type would support unionization. I might have taken a side there, though. Again, I am generally pro-union, as it seems to me it's either that or indentured servitude and tenant farming.

It's billed as a liberal cause because it was "left-leaning bloggers" that brought it up, according to the Associated Press, but that might have been a disingenuous way to characterize it, by invoking the spirit of Norma Rae. It may have been better to hearken back to freelance writers unions and actors guilds, which isn't mentioned until the second paragraph, thus producing the desired gut reaction from the anti-camp.

Is Possible to make Blogger United

In the past two years, blogging, as a profession, has grown from geeky obscurity into a direct challenge to the journalism industry, even with bloggers' reputation for being unruly, unvetted, grammatically and syntactically insufficient, and above all, a disorganized mess.

But that is sort of what (OK, completely what) made the medium so appealing. They answered to no one and therefore were accountable to no one; the individualist, populist, no-truth-barred approach both what propelled it and what held it back.

Abused, sometimes inaccurate, sometimes out and out wrong, but for the most part, a development for the greater good, for freedom of speech, for information exchange, for the free market of ideas.

But organized? Isn't that a kind of bloggers' code sacrilege? Wouldn't this be the same disorganized collective that railed against the idea of a Blogger's Code of Conduct?
Don't answer that. It's too restrictive. Bloggers are all creeds, all different kinds of people.

Google hostile towards buying links

A part of Google's quality guidelines says "Dont participate in link schemes designed to increase your sites ranking or PageRank". Google considers buying text links for boosting PageRank purposes violates its quality guidelines. Google likes websites to have their own organic quality that earns links from other websites.

Does Google view all paid links as potential violations of its quality guidelines? Perhaps not. But Google doesn't like paid links that flow PageRank and attempt to game Google's rankings.

Google is not able to crack down on all paid links that they don't like. And so recently they ask people to report paid links.

You may have guessed by now who get very upset with Google. Yes, the text links sellers.

Here are a couple of comments

Google sells AdWords ads for companies selling text links. If they don't like the practice why not start the cleanup at Google.com?

Google is still indexing those lolita preteen results, ranks all these .edu ringtone pages, and lets not forget that Google continues to deliver AdSense ads on sites they
banned for being spam. If Google doesn't CLEARLY mark their own paid links, encourages publishers to blend them into content, and doesn't police their own network, why do they think they have the right to police other sites?

SEO companies and text links sellers may hate Google.

What is Paid Links?

If you pay a website owner to link his site to yours, that link is a paid link. And it's a one-way incoming link.

Webmasters and internet marketers understand that incoming links can help improve their websites' search engine rankings. Thats why some many experienced webmasters buy this Paid links.

But acquiring incoming links from other established websites with similar themes is slow and tedious, and an uphill task if your website is new. Therefore buying links from websites with high Page Rank can be a quick shortcut to increase your website ranking and Page Rank.

But be consider that Google can detect paid links, but only some... not all. And Google doesn't like paid links.

Keep your sites on Top

After your sites have a good rank, below another important think beside an effective way to climb up that we were learning before:

Monitor your web analytics
One of the great benefits of web analytics is that it allows you to monitor keyword referrals. In other words, you can find out what visitors are searching for when they land at your site. For brand new sites there won't be too much data, but if your site has been around at all and is getting some organic search traffic you will find that your analytics reports are a great source of keyword information. Referring search phrases can be surprising - sometimes including misspellings and other abnormalities. Keep an eye on your analytics, and you might find a keyword worth optimizing for.

Constantly reevaluate your position

While keyword research is definitely the first step in developing your site content from an SEO standpoint it should also be a recurring one. Internet trends shift quickly. While a lot of your core keywords will remain unchanged for the foreseeable future some buzz words will get attention while others fall from the spotlight. Stay on top of your keyword research and you can make the most of new opportunities while recognizing the less-than-ideal keywords that are either too competitive or don't bring in enough traffic.

Successful Keyword Research #3 - Final

Final keys for successful keyword research

Don't be too wordy
No, really. A common mistake is to choose your keywords based on your own perspective rather than that of your target users. Sure, you know your topic inside and out. You know the buzz words, the technical details and a whole lot more, but do your users? What if the user isn't sure what they're looking for? Maybe they know the function but not the name. Keep this in mind when researching keywords, and make sure you consider your choices from the perspective of someone very new to your topic.

Consider local search
One area small to mid-sized web sites can really find a competitive edge is in locally-specific search phrases. These are inherently less competitive and therefore are easier to rank well for. However, go back to #3 and think it through - if your web site is locally specific or if users will want to know your location this is a good strategy, but optimizing pages for local keywords that will look out of place to users can be a mistake.

Successful Keyword Research #2

Below are another keys for successful keyword research

Identify *viable* targets
We'd all love to rank well for the most general and all-encompassing search phrase related to our topic, but only a handful ever will. Targeting some ultra-competitive keywords is as good as shooting yourself in the foot unless you've got massive amounts of time and resources to throw at the problem.
Finding long-tail (three words and more) and targeted search phrases that are actually getting traffic can mean the difference between SEO success and failure. Be reasonable in your expectations, and fight the big guys by researching long-tail search phrases that have slipped beneath the radar. You might also find that long-tail search phrases bring better conversion rates for your topic.

Keep it relevant
You may find keywords and phrases that offer inroads to high search rankings, but it's important to remember that the ultimate end is traffic and how you utilize it. In other words, you need to be sure your keywords relate to your web site. If you get a page to rank well enough to bring in some search traffic, but when users actually view that page they either can't make sense of the content or find the page unrelated to your topic (or worse - spammy) that search traffic will do you no good. Not only will off-topic or spammy content affect your brand and drive users from your site, but there's a chance Google could catch on to your irrelevant content or spammy techniques and penalize your domain for it.

Successful Keyword Research #1

How competitive are the keywords you are optimizing for? What keywords are you including in your link building efforts? What will it take to succeed? Answering these questions ahead of time makes all the difference.
Here are first key tips for successful keyword research.

Use a proper tool

Sure, there's a lot of free stuff available out there, but when it comes to keyword research free tools are few and far from powerful. If you're considering investing either money or time into SEO for your web site look at a solid keyword research tool as a necessity.
Some of the better keyword research tools:
  1. SEOmoz's Keyword Difficulty Tool - this tool from one of the great SEO innovators gives you a good general idea of how competitive your keyword/phrase is.
  2. Trellian's Keyword Discovery Tool - user-friendly, simple, and feature-rich. One of the best keyword research tools available.
  3. WordTracker Keywords - second to none, WordTracker has been a leader in keyword research for years. A great value.
